It's time to tidy up everything as it was

Rules

During the the installation (from 10am to 11:15am), only two members of each booth are allowed to be on the place.

We kindly request visitors not to wait at the entry while the expositors are mounting the stands to avoid crowds.

The material showed at the stands must be 100% MSX-related stuff. Only guest platform stand is allowed to show material of the platform it's showing. Also, if you're showing another material but you've got reasonable arguments (merchandising, t-shirts, any association info...), it can be allowed by the AAMSX. Personal computers are allowed too when they're used as tools for the stand (for copying files to a flash card, for showing videos, emulators, ...). Anyway, if you've got any questions about that, don't hesitate and send us an e-mail with your questions. We will answer you as soon as possible.

Use of loud speakers is forbidden, and the max height allowed should be no higher than 25cm.

During the meeting, we kindly ask both exhibitors and visitors to keep a friendly behavior with all the visitors, trying to avoid any conduct which might disturb others. Also, we ask you to please keep quiet during the booths presentation, so the other visitors can listen everything without problems.

Consumption of alcohol is forbidden during the event.

Booth booking

The place where the meeting is held is not very large. That's why we recommend all possible expositors to make the reservation as soon as possible. This is good to everybody: you get more guarantees of getting your own stand (sometimes no tables are left free), and more visitors are compelled to visit us as more expositors are confirmed.

The available bo oth tables dimensions are 200 x 80 cm. Due to a reduction on the available assets, we're limiting the number ot tables per booth to one.

As every year, admission to visitors is free. Also, booths are free to book, except for those that only sell second-hand games.

The booth's price list is as follows:

  • If your stand sells second-hand material like games or other stuff, the price is 40€.
  • If your stand sells second-hand games and computers, you must pay 40€ but, for every computer on sale in your booth, 3€ will be subtracted from the final price.
  • If your stand represents a MSX-related association, a coders group, MSX website, MSX merchandise, MSX music... the booth is free.

To book your own booth, just click here and fill the form. We will receive you request, and the booth will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Material renting

You also can make a reserve of material: MSX computers or televisions for your stand. If you're not from Barcelona, and you don't want come by car, you've got the possibility of use another transport and forget the problem of taking with you any heavy and annoying luggage. You can rent us any hardware you need and we will take it to the users meeting for you. Here its the price of every hardware:

  • MSX1 computer withouth disk drive -> 20 euros.
  • MSX2 computer with disk drive -> 30 euros.
  • MSX2+ computer -> 40 euros.
  • MSX TurboR computer -> 50 euros.
  • Standard 14" Television -> 30 euros
  • High quality 14" TV (Sony CRT) -> 40 euros

If you're in need of something else (Slot expander, RAM, FMpac, a Flash cartridge...) let us known in the booth reservation form and we'll see if we can get it and at what price.

Second Hand Market Service

As every year, we offer you the second-hand market section so you can sell any MSX product that you do not use (games, hardware, books, magazines, ...).

This service is free so we ask you that, in order to be agile and not overload our collaborators, follow these rules:

  • The second-hand market starts when opening doors until 14:00. Any left item after that hour won't be supervised by the AAMSX and its responsibility will be on its owner.
  • All material on sale must be 100% MSX-related.
  • It is mandatory to download, print and fill in the product list form (download it form here). AAMSX won't have available forms in the RU anymore, this way we intend to speed up the assembly of the stand.
  • Material on sale must be previously notified to the AAMSX by mail. We want to avoid past situations where we were collapsed with material to sell and the assigned space for this stand is smaller every year. If we see that some items may take up too much space, the AAMSX reserves the right to reject them, notifying the owner in advance of the date of the RU. Please send us back the products list form once filled in via e-mail.
  • It is also mandatory to label all products in advance. Put the label in the front top side of the article with the same reference as in the product list form and its price. Once the products list is delivered, the AAMSX will review it and compare it with the one received via e-mail and the items on sale to verify that everything is in order.
  • The deadline for sending products list is June 8th. Any application sent after this date will be immediately rejected.

If you have any questions, you can contact us through our contact mail available in our web.
